GlobalSight: Collaborate to Innovate

The 8.2.2 release includes the following enhancements:

• An improved web interface for submitting files for translation
• Enhanced functionality for leveraging translations from other in-progress jobs
• Enhanced functionality for re-leveraging translation memories
• Reduced steps for translators uploading work back into GlobalSight
• Enhanced functionality for skipping workflow steps
• A new TM search function
• A new Terminology search function

This release of GlobalSight makes managing on-demand translations within tight schedules even easier. To ensure that translated content is ready at about the same time as the source language content, many companies now perform authoring and translation in parallel. "GlobalSight 8.2.2 contains new features which further streamline translation in this type of environment, even when authoring schedules are unpredictable," said Steve Billings, Welocalize Director of Solutions Architecture.
