Installing GlobalSight consists of downloading and installing the third-party software needed and then the GlobalSight core.
You can also install Desktop Icon, if needed.
Downloading GlobalSight
The first step is to download the software for your operating system - Windows or Ubuntu.
To download the code:
- Go to the GlobalSight page on Sourceforge
- Select the zip file for your operating system. For example GlobalSight_Software_Package_Windows_8.5.1.zip
- Unzip the file
Unzipping the file creates the following directories:
- 3rd_party_software
- 64_bit_3rd_party_software (for Windows only)
- Aligner

- GlobalSight
You can download our latest code as described on GlobalSight.com.
