My Jobs provides a dashboard for Project Managers and administrators to carry out jobs.

Opening My Jobs

You can open My Jobs by clicking My Jobs in the top menu or under Common on your home page.

My Jobs lists the jobs that have been created. You can filter by job Status. You can also find a particular job by entering the job name and clicking Search.

My Jobs - All Status

For each job, you can check:

  • !: Priority, the level of importance from 1 to 5
  • Job ID: unique ID number generated when the job is created
  • Job Name: the name chosen when the job is created
  • Project: the project in which the job is created
  • Source Locale: the source language in which the job is created
  • Word Count: the number of words included in the job
  • Date Created: the date on which the job is created
  • Planned Completion Date: the date by which the job should be completed
  • Job Status: each job has a defined status

Click any Job Name to open the Job Details. You can also right-click the Job Name and select the section to go to.

My Jobs - Pending

My Jobs - Pending shows details on jobs that are at Pending status.

Pending jobs have not yet been dispatched to resources. Jobs also become Pending when the files have not been imported successfully.

For Pending jobs you can:

  • Click View Error to check any errors that have arisen
  • Click Discard to cancel the job
  • Click Make Ready to move the job to Ready status. You must first fix any open errors

My Jobs - Ready

My Jobs - Ready shows details on jobs that are at Ready status.

My Jobs - Ready


My Jobs - In Progress

My Jobs - In Progress shows details on jobs that are at In Progress status.

For In Progress jobs you can:

  • Click Search/Replace to search and replace text inside the files selected
  • Click Change Workflow Managers to change the Workflow Managers assigned to each workflow
  • Click Discard to cancel a workflow
  • Click Export Source to export the source file
  • Click Export to export the activity files
  • Click Download to download the files selected

My Jobs - Localized

My Jobs - Localized shows details on jobs that are at Localized status.

For Localized jobs you can:

  • Click Export to export the activity files
  • Click Export Source to export the source file
  • Click Discard to cancel a workflow
  • Click Download to download the files selected

My Jobs - Exported

My Jobs - Exported shows details on jobs that are at Exported status.

For Exported jobs you can:

  • Click View Error to check any errors that have arisen
  • Click Re-Export to export the files again
  • Click Export Source to export the source file
  • Click Discard to cancel a workflow
  • Click Archive to archive completed jobs
  • Click Download to download the files selected

My Jobs - Archived shows details on jobs that are at Archived status.

For Archived jobs you can:

  • Click Re-Export to export the files again
  • Click Export Source to export the source file
  • Click Discard to cancel a workflow
  • Click Download to download the files selected

Click the job name to open the Job Details.

Workflows

Workflow shows details on the current status of each target locale.

Manage your workflows as needed:

Source Files

Source Files shows the Primary Source Files that are being translated.

Manage the source files as needed:

  • Find text by selecting whether to search by Source locale or Target locale and clicking Search
  • Click any file to open it in your editor
  • Click Add Files to add files to the job
  • Click Delete Files to delete files from the job
  • Click Download (to edit) to download the source files for editing
  • Click Upload (to update) to upload the source files for updating
  • Click Click to View to open the source file

Costs

Costs shows the details that are defined during quoting.

PDFs

PDFs allows you to create PDFs for IDML files.

Select the target locale, click Create PDF and then click Download once the PDF generates.

Comments

Comments shows all of the comments that have been added on the job:

  • Job Comments: Comments on the job that have been added from creating jobs and onwards. You can add more comments by clicking New or update existing comments by clicking Edit
  • Activity Comments: Comments on the activity that have been added while carrying out the work
  • Segment Comments: Comments on the individual segments that have been added while carrying out the work

Job Attributes shows all of the job attributes that have been defined for the job.

Reports shows all of the reports that are available. Select the report and click Run Reports.
