GlobalSight release 8.6

GlobalSight 8.6 is a new release of the GlobalSight system.

New Features

Advanced Search TM options

The following advanced search criteria are added in GlobalSight 8.6.2:

• TU ID
• String ID
• Attribute Name
• Attribute Value
• Creation User
• Modification User

Creation Date and Modification Date are changed to separate fields.

Timed/Automatic Completion of Workflow Activities

User now have the ability to configure certain workflows activities to complete after a pre-defined timeframe.

GlobalSight plugin for AEM (CQ5)

You can now connect Adobe AEM (CQ5) with GlobalSight via webservices plugin.

Recreate jobs at Ready state

You can now recreate Ready jobs not only failed jobs. A new button "Re-Create" under the Ready jobs list page. It's controlled by permission My Jobs -> Jobs (View) -> Re-Create.

In Context Review Tool for INDD/IDML and Office 2010

A new context menu "Open In Context Review" has been added when you right click on the file in job or activity details page.

In the in context review, you can translate or add a comment by right clicking on a segment.

When you select a segment in the target segment list, the corresponding segment is selected on the other side in the pdf

This has been added in the installation UI, as a new adapter "In Context Review Tool". This must be enabled on install for option to appear in UI.

If enabled, when idml/indd jobs are created, the pdf files for source and target will automatically be created for the incontext review.

Multi-select to My Jobs - Job ID filter

Users can now filter job list using job lists or ranges.

If selecting "=", the Job ID can be in the format "1,2,3" or "3-5,7-10" or mixed "1,2,3,7-10".

Note: If selecting ">" or "<", then Job ID must be an unique ID.

Support Dynamic Contents in Eloqua

Handling support added for dynamic content in Oracle Eloqua.

Optimized code for script on import

Instances of duplicated code removed from java files that handle script on import during job creation. Optimized into on location for shared usage.
