GlobalSight release 7.1.4.0

GlobalSight 7.1.4 is a new release of the GlobalSight system. It contains the new features, enhancements to existing features and bug fixes listed below.

New features

• New TM APIs allows retrieval of all segments of a TM, for example for viewing the contents of a TM in an external application such as Excel
• Support added for CVS as a source content repository. This allows users to submit content to GlobalSight for localization directly from a CVS instance, via the Desktop Icon

Enhancements

• Store SID fields during TM Import
• TM export to include SID fields
• Extend SID field to allow up to 256 characters
• SID fields support for XML file format
• Support Unicode escape when exporting a translated java properties file
• Enable by default certain commonly used features when creating a new company
• Support .srx as a file extension when uploading SRX documents
• Support non-SRX elements in the <header> element of SRX
• Update and publish DB Design Documents (available as a separate download on www.globalsight.com)
• Enable ability to have inline="yes" as a permissible attribute on <dont-translate> element
• Add option to not translate MS Word "header" file. In File Profiles settings
• Allow download of all source files at once from a Job
• Add additional attributes when downloading offline in XLIFF 1.2 format :"translate=yes/no" and "state="

• Allow Duplicate of workflows across projects
• Allow for the ability to penalize matches found in reference TMs

Bug fixes

• Invalid handle error when uploading aligner package
• Discard" Job(s) takes a long time to complete especially if the job contains large files
• Tabstrip is not exported back into translated excel document
